Group Exercise Sessions

At Super Rehab, our 10-week Group Exercise Sessions are designed to help participants improve strength, balance, and mobility—all within a supportive, social environment.

Led by our experienced Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists, these sessions combine evidence-based exercise with personalised guidance to help participants move safely, stay active, and maintain independence in daily life.

Group exercise also offers an important social benefit. Participants enjoy connecting with others in a friendly, encouraging environment while building confidence in movement and physical activity.

What Our Group Exercise Sessions Focus On

Strength and Balance Training

Social and Supportive Environment

Mobility and Functional Movement

Targeted exercises focus on improving muscle strength, joint stability, balance, and coordination, helping participants feel more confident with walking and everyday movement. These exercises play an important role in reducing the risk of falls and supporting participants to maintain their independence and safety at home.

Mobility and Functional Movement

Social and Supportive Environment

Mobility and Functional Movement

Exercises focus on functional movements that support everyday activities such as standing from a chair, walking safely, reaching and carrying objects, climbing steps, and improving posture and joint mobility. By practicing these movements in a structured and supportive environment, participants can build confidence and maintain their ability to perform daily activities and participate more actively in their community.

Safe and Progressive Exercise

Social and Supportive Environment

Social and Supportive Environment

Our clinicians design exercises that are appropriate for each participant’s fitness level, health condition, and functional ability. Programs are gradually progressed as participants improve, ensuring exercises remain safe, effective, and aligned with individual goals. With close supervision and guidance from experienced allied health professionals, participants can exercise confidently while reducing the risk of injury.

Social and Supportive Environment

Group exercise sessions provide a welcoming and encouraging environment where participants can connect with others, stay motivated through shared progress, and build confidence in physical activity. The social nature of the sessions helps foster a sense of community and belonging, and many participants find that engaging in group exercise improves overall wellbeing while reducing feelings of isolation.

Why Choose Super Rehab’s Group Exercise Sessions?

We go beyond traditional exercise session by providing clinically guided programs designed for older adults and people living with disability.

  • Experienced Facilitators - All sessions are led by registered and qualified Physiotherapists or Exercise Physiologists experience supporting participants with mobility challenges, chronic health conditions, falls risk, post-hospital recovery as well as age-related functional decline.

  • Evidence-Based Programs - Our exercise programs are built on best practice research in falls prevention, strength and balance training, healthy ageing as well as functional rehabilitation. This ensures participants receive safe, effective programs with measurable benefits.

  • Personalised Support - Even though the sessions are delivered in a group environment, our clinicians provide individual guidance and modifications to ensure exercises remain suitable and effective for each participant's needs and goals.

  • Focus on Long-Term Wellbeing - Our program focus on helping participants maintain functional independence, reduce fall risk, improve mobility and confidence, stay active in their community, and support long-term health and wellbeing.
