Allied Health Services

Allied Health
Assistance.

Super Rehab Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) deliver supervised therapeutic support in the home and community across Sydney. Working under the clinical direction of our Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists, AHAs implement structured exercise programs and support participants to build strength, confidence, and independence through regular, consistent sessions.

AHA services are available both as home visits and at our hubs in Petersham and Homebush West — giving participants flexibility in how and where they receive support.

Our AHAs work closely with the supervising clinician to ensure every session stays aligned with the participant’s goals and program, with clear communication and progress reporting back to the clinical team.

Who We Support

People we commonly support

  • Have an established exercise program from a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist and need regular supervised sessions to progress it
  • Would benefit from more frequent support than a clinician alone can provide
  • Are working toward improved strength, balance, mobility, or functional independence
  • Need consistent, affordable exercise support between clinical reviews
  • Prefer sessions at home or at one of our Sydney hubs
  • Are funded through NDIS, Support at Home, CHSP, or private funding
Our Approach

How our AHAs work with participants

  • Implement exercise programs designed and supervised by a qualified Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist
  • Provide consistent, regular sessions that reinforce clinical goals
  • Support participants to build confidence and independence through repetition and guided practice
  • Communicate progress and any concerns back to the supervising clinician
  • Adapt sessions within the prescribed program in response to how the participant is tracking
What We Offer

Allied Health Assistance services

At Home
  • Supervised delivery of Physiotherapy or EP exercise programs
  • Strength, balance, and mobility exercises in the participant’s own environment
  • Functional practice — stairs, transfers, walking, daily routines
  • Progress reporting to the supervising clinician
  • Encouragement and consistency between clinical review sessions
At Our Hubs
  • Supervised exercise sessions at our Petersham or Homebush West hubs
  • Access to a structured exercise environment with appropriate equipment
  • Group or individual sessions based on the participant’s program and needs
  • A supportive, consistent environment that builds routine and confidence
  • Coordination with hub-based clinicians for seamless clinical oversight
How AHA Works — Clinician-Led, AHA-Delivered

Our AHAs do not work independently. Every AHA session is grounded in a program designed by a qualified Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist, who:

  • Completes the initial assessment and designs the exercise program
  • Conducts regular review sessions to update and progress the program
  • Remains the clinical point of contact for the participant and referrer
  • Reviews AHA progress notes and provides ongoing clinical direction
